Alien Parade Mcminville, Oregon

A little boy falls while riding his roller blades, in front of a float. He quickly tries to get out of the way but falls again. A small part of the crowd begins to laugh.

A woman dressed up as an alien to try to persuade people not to "abduct" but to "adopt".

A woman and her baby find themselves in the middle of the parade and race to get out of the way.

Chemeketa community college participates in the parade to encourage high schoolers to go to their school. They do this by making their float look fun, silly, and colorful, and sing to music.

A little girl opens a piece of candy one of the floats had thrown to her. As she takes the bite, she scrunches her nose because of the sour taste.

People dress up as aliens and stand on tall pegs to make them appear very large. They shake peoples hands and make them laugh.

Although this is the entrance, the parade is over and people file out through here. Shuffling and pushing to get to their cars to head home.
